About Comforts at Home Pet Care

Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve dedicated my life to.

With over 40 years of hands-on experience, I’ve worked with pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. From excited, energetic puppies to senior pets requiring a gentler approach, I understand that every animal is unique—and deserves care that reflects that.

Professional Experience & Credentials

In addition to decades of practical experience, I am a Certified Dog Behavior Counselor through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). This certification reflects advanced knowledge in canine behavior, communication, and humane, science-based handling.

That background allows me to:

  • Recognize and respond to subtle behavioral cues

  • Support dogs with anxiety, fear, or reactivity

  • Provide calm, structured care that builds trust

  • Adapt my approach to each individual dog

A Calm, Consistent Presence

Pets thrive on routine, familiarity, and trust. That’s why I provide care in the place they feel safest: their own home. By keeping their environment and schedule consistent, I help reduce stress and ensure they remain comfortable and secure while you’re away.

I take the time to get to know each pet—their personality, preferences, and routines. Whether it’s a favorite walking route, feeding schedule, or how they like to be greeted, every detail matters.

Care You Can Feel Confident In

Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal care, including:

  • Monitoring for changes in health or behavior

  • Caring for senior pets and those with special needs

  • Administering medications when needed

  • Building trust with shy or sensitive animals

My approach is patient, attentive, and always centered on your pet’s well-being.

Peace of Mind for You

Leaving your pet in someone else’s care is never a small decision. My goal is to make that decision easier by providing dependable, knowledgeable, and compassionate service you can trust.

When you choose Comforts at Home Pet Care, you’re not just hiring a pet sitter—you’re working with an experienced professional who understands behavior as well as care.
