Every visit is personal. Every pet is treated like family.

With over 40 years of hands-on experience, I understand that no two pets are alike. That's why every service I provide is built around your pet's individual personality, routine, and needs—delivering the kind of attentive, compassionate care that only comes from truly loving what you do.

In-Home Pet Care

Your pet's world revolves around home—their favorite spot on the couch, the sound of familiar sounds, the comfort of their own surroundings. When you're away, I step in to make sure that world stays as normal and stress-free as possible.

Visits include feeding and fresh water, walks, playtime and companionship, litter care, and a general check-in on your pet's health and well-being. I take the time to follow your pet's established routine, because consistency is one of the greatest gifts you can give an animal when their person isn't home. Every visit ends with an update so you always know how your pet is doing.

Overnight Care

Some pets struggle when the house goes quiet and the lights go out. Overnight care means your pets are never left to face those hours alone.

I stay in your home through the night, maintaining your pet's usual evening and morning routines—dinner, any medications, settling in for the night, and a relaxed start to the morning. Whether you're traveling for work or pleasure, you can rest easy knowing someone who genuinely cares is right there with them. No kennels, no unfamiliar environments—just home, exactly as they know it.

Specialized Care

Some pets need a little extra support. Whether it's a senior pet who moves a bit slower these days, a pet managing a health condition, or an animal who gets anxious or overwhelmed easily. I'm here for them too.

Specialized care services include medication administration (oral, topical, or injected), mobility support for older or post-surgery pets, and calm, patient, behavior-aware handling for pets with anxiety or special needs (i.e., dogs that can’t be left alone). I work closely with pet owners to fully understand their pet's history, triggers, and care requirements before any visit begins, because trust, for both the pet and the owner, is everything.

Enrichment Activities

Pets need more than just basic care—they need mental stimulation, engagement, and purposeful interaction to truly thrive.

When weather limits outdoor time or your pet needs extra attention, I provide structured, in-home enrichment designed to keep their mind active and their energy balanced.

Each visit is tailored to your pet’s age, breed, personality, and comfort level. Activities may include:

  • Puzzle toys and problem-solving games

  • Scent work and nose games

  • Interactive play and engagement

  • Gentle training exercises and reinforcement

  • Calm, focused one-on-one attention

Why Enrichment Matters

Mental stimulation isn’t just “extra”—it plays a key role in your pet’s overall well-being. Regular enrichment can:

  • Reduce boredom and destructive behaviors

  • Ease anxiety and restlessness

  • Build confidence in shy or sensitive pets

  • Support healthy, balanced energy levels

With my background as a certified behavior professional through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, enrichment isn’t random—it’s intentional, thoughtful, and aligned with your pet’s individual needs.

Dog Training

Training isn’t just about commands—it’s about communication, trust, and creating a calmer, more enjoyable life with your dog.

I offer in-home training that focuses on real-life situations, helping your dog learn in the environment where behavior actually happens. Using a calm, patient, and individualized approach, I work with both you and your dog to build clear understanding and lasting results.

Behavior-Focused, Real-World Training

With over 40 years of experience and certification through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, my training goes beyond basic obedience. I focus on understanding why behaviors happen and how to guide your dog toward better choices.

Training may include:

  • Basic manners (sit, stay, leash skills, polite greetings)

  • Addressing jumping, pulling, or lack of focus

  • Building confidence in shy or sensitive dogs

  • Supporting dogs with anxiety or mild reactivity

  • Reinforcing calm behavior in the home

A Personalized Approach

Every dog learns differently. That’s why training is tailored to your dog’s temperament, history, and your specific goals. You’ll also learn how to:

  • Read your dog’s body language

  • Respond consistently and effectively

  • Reinforce positive behaviors in everyday situations

Important Service Note

Dog training is offered as an additional, specialized service through my association with PAWSitively Obedient Pet Services. Training sessions are scheduled, invoiced, and billed separately from Comforts at Home Pet Care services.

Designed for Lasting Results

The goal isn’t just short-term compliance—it’s creating habits and understanding that lasts. By working in your home and daily routine, training becomes practical, realistic, and easier to maintain.
